Detail Location

This is the Help page for the Results Detail Display from a search query. It shows the locations of the cell bodies of neuron displayed on a map of the nervous system. The system uses plugin software called LocationViz.

Page Elements

Right Panel

• The Panel on the Right shows the different brain maps that are available for this branch, each map has its name under it.
  • The map in red is the current map.
  • The name of the current map is displayed at the top.
  • Click on the other maps to display

Tool Bar

• Undo Hide Button on the tool bar to undo the last hide.
• Show Hidden Neuron displays a list of all the hidden neurons. Click on the name of the neuron to redisplay it.
• Show Grid checkbox to display a 2D coordinate system.
• Display All Neurons shows the locations of neurons not found in this query.

Mouse Controls

Panning

To pan the image: Left Mouse click and drag

Zooming

To Zoom the image: Right Mouse click and drag

Get Name

Mouse over a neuron reveals its name.,
