Detail Network

This is the Help page for Detail Network from a search query. It shows the interconnections of neurons as stored in the branch knowledge base. The system uses plugin software called NetworkViz.

Page Elements
- The Tabs at the top show Results List and Results Location Views.
- There are self-explanatory menus under the tabs.
- On the right, there are two Tree Layouts
- Node Link Tree
- Radial Link Tree
- Connectivity:
- Chemical synaptic connections are shown in red.
- Electrical synapses are shown in green.
- Neurons with no connections are shown highlighted in blue.

Controls
- To pan the image: Left Mouse click and drag
- To Zoom the image: Right Mouse click and drag
- Mouse over a neuron reveals its name.
- Nodes on the tree can be rearranged by dragging the neuron.
- To go to the Detail Page of a neuron: Right click on the neuron and choose See "NeuronName" Detail.
- To hide a Neuron: Right click on the neuron and choose Hide Neuron.
- You can hide multiple neurons.
- Select the Undo Hide Button on the tool bar to undo the last hide.
- The Show Hidden Neuron displays a list of all the hidden neurons. Click on the name of the neuron to redisplay it.
- Double clicking on a neuron will center the tree on that neuron.
- The Tree is locked to the neuron that is highlighted at its center. (By default, this is the neuron with the most connections).
- The entire tree can be moved by dragging the central neuron.,
