This is the top banner that appears on the NeuronBank Central pages. Similar features are present on each of the branches (see Branch Navigation).

Functions on Banner
Home Button
1 - The link to NeuronBank will always take you back to the homepage NeuronBank.org. The box where Central appears, will have the name of the branch that you are currently on.
User Account Functions
2 - The User Account functions are in the top middle. In the banner shown above, it says "Guest | Login | New Account" This signifies that you are not logged in and currently have Guest privileges.
Icons at top right
3 - There are three icons at the top right:
- The Wiki button takes you to the appropriate page of the NeuronBank Wiki.
- Help button gets you to the appropriate page of this Help Wiki.
- The Report Bug button is to report problems with the operation of NeuronBank.
Breadcrumb trail
4 - A Breadcrumb trail will always show where you are in the navigation scheme. You can click on any of these links to move back to a previous page.
Text Searches
5 - Find is a text search for attribute values in the data represented in NeuronBank. Enter a Text String in the box, select whether to search on All Branches or choose a single branch to perform the search on. (see search for more information about searching)
Browse/Search
6 - Browse/Search allows you to jump to a particular starting Branch to begin Browsing or Searching. You can use this for the start of a Cross Branch Search.
