Set Refs

Set References is one of the very awkward interfaces that we need to fix before allowing others to edit. What Set references does is allow you to choose an annotation (a contributor, a paper, an example) that will annotate any new thing that you add to the branch.

One problem is that you may not be able to find or recognize the reference that you need in the pull down list. You may have to do an advanced search first to find it.

Once you select the reference from the long list, hit "Add Ref"

To remove the reference when you no longer want to use it for annotation, highlight in the top list and hit "Remove".

If the reference that you want does not appear in this list, you can upload it from PubMed using Import Data.
