Text Search
From Neuronbank Help
Text Searches can be performed from NeuronBank Central or from a Branch Home page. The search box is location on the Navigation bar.
Functions on Text Search Interface
1.Find is a text search for attributes in the data represented in NeuronBank. The user enters a string in the box and hits Go. The default option runs this search across all branches. By selecting an option from the drop down list, the user can choose to run this search against the data of a specific branch. Note that the search engine will look for the occurrence of this string in any data about the branch. It will not search the ontologies.
The results will come back in a tabular form as shown below. The table includes the name of the branch, the status of the query and the number of results returned by that branch. Clicking on a branch name will take the user to the result details from that branch.
From a Branch Home page, a simple search can be restricted to just the contents of the branch or submitted to all branches.
2.Browse/Search allows a user to select a branch from the drop down list and jump directly to the Browse/Search interface of the selected branch.,
